Core Studio Yoga Classes

Core Studio has been recognized as Hartford's Best year after year in yoga instruction. Our knowledgeable and experienced instructors are fully engaged throughout each yoga session and walk you through each posture ensuring proper movement and position.

Yin-Yang Yoga: This eclectic class encompasses various posture holds, flow, and breath work.  Continue your practice with restorative yoga postures that encourage deep release and flexibility.  This class will close with a peaceful relaxation, sure to relieve physical and mental tension (i.e. the almighty savasana!).  Level 1 modifications will be offered for beginners or for those working with injuries.  Level 2 and 3 options will be offered for those looking to advance in their practice. 

Yoga/Pilates Fusion: This class blends yoga and pilates for a pure core conditioning experience.  Improve balance, strength, and flexibility by focusing on the stabilizing muscles of the trunk. Leave feeling strong, stretched, and relaxed!

Pilates: Time to flatten your belly and create long, lean muscles!  This class is sure to improve your posture, balance, and core strength while creating positive body awareness.  Couple strength and flexibility exercises with focused breathing patterns and take your body to a whole new level.  Props such as the stability ball and Pilates ring may be used to add variety to the class.

Shanti Yoga:  Emphasize stretching and deep breathing to help relieve physical and mental tension in this peace-filled yoga practice.  Fusing traditional yoga postures with a gentle yoga flow, this class will improve flexibility and encourage relaxation.  This all-levels class will get you ready for a great night’s sleep! 

Sunrise Yoga Flow: Celebrate the coming of a new day with this 45-minute vinyasa practice, which is sure to awaken your body and soul.  Leave energized and ready to face the day! 

Stretch Therapy: Take 30 minutes out of your day to lengthen, restore, and relax your muscles … your body will thank you for it!  This total body stretch is just what you need to enhance your flexibility, increase range of motion, and improve overall performance.  Ahhh.
